Tackling Life's Struggles by Shaykh Waleed Basyouni

Just want to share about a talk that I've attended yesterday. It was an-Nur distinguished lecture series that be held at UTP chancellor hall entitled,  "Unbreakable: Tackling Life's Struggles". The speaker was Shaykh Waleed Basyouni, Director Texas Da'wah Convention, USA. 


He shared 10 tips to handle challenges in life.


1) Trust Allah in yourself
-He loves you, so learn to trust Him.


2) Ease comes with hardship
- When the things come to peak, it's not the time to quick, but to push, work hard.


3) There's a wisdom behind all that. 
- Why Allah put me into this? 
- He loves you. He put you resist with the pressure not to keep you down, but He wants you to grow stronger so that you'll be more valuable. 


4) Don't ever be blocked by your problem
- Life is like riding a bicycle. In order to keep balance, you must keep moving.


5) Make sure your problems would not defeat you inside.


6) Work out on why this problem happen?
- Find the root cause of the problem.


7) Watch carefully your words/ language
- Don't say "if I do not do that before..."
- Say good words.


8) Be optimist in handling your problem


9) Turn yourself to Allah swt.
- Do not ever run from your problem. You may take time to solve your problem.


10) Do not complaint about your problem
- Instead, ask for advice to the people that you trust. 


Personally, alhamdulillah after attend this talk, I feel much better.. =)

#2 hosmet gathering

Alhamdulillah..new header means new of me.. kakak final year version.. hi3..gedix ke header tu?? nope kan.. sepasang kasut flat+ camera kiut, tanda2 dah matang kot.. yeahhha

    Oh ya, on Friday 1st June of 2012, we have our 2nd hosmet gathering.. the 1st was trip to Langkawi but I can't join as I'm busy for my neighbor's wedding.. haha. So, I dunno what happened there.

Our 2nd gathering was a picnic at UTP lake.. Because it was so awesome, I can't describe in words..so enjoy the pics.. full report on the picnic was here --> belog anis ;)
